This project investigates garbage as a residue of human consumption, distinguishing it from natural ecological outputs. We examined garbage from three socioeconomically different districts in Istanbul to explore visual representations of consumption and waste.
The project includes a design based on these findings and a one-minute video that artistically presents our garbage analysis. The video aims to make the raw data more accessible and understandable to the public. Key findings, such as dietary habits and drug use variations across districts, guided our visualizations, emphasizing the stark reality of consumption disparities.
